Tax, filed properly the first time

We prepare and file Hong Kong tax returns for companies and for the people who own them, and we deal with the Inland Revenue Department on your behalf when it has questions.

What is included

  • Profits Tax Returns for companies, with the tax computation and supporting schedules.
  • Salaries tax, property tax and personal assessment for directors, shareholders and their families.
  • Checking each notice of assessment, and lodging an objection in time when it is wrong.
  • Replies to enquiry letters from the Inland Revenue Department, and representing you through a field audit or investigation.
  • Acting as your tax representative, so your returns fall under the Department's block extension scheme.

What we need from you

  • The return itself, as soon as it arrives — the deadline runs from the date of issue.
  • For companies: the audited accounts, or the books so we can prepare them.
  • For individuals: employer's income statements, rental income and expenses, and anything claimed as a deduction.
  • Every letter from the Inland Revenue Department, unopened if you prefer.

How long it takes

Most returns are straightforward once the accounts are ready. Enquiries and field audits take longer and follow the Department's pace; we tell you what to expect at each step and do not let a reply date pass.
